We were together for 3 years. The last year was the hardest. Neither of us were really happy anymore. We fought allllll the time. Literally every day… I broke up with him after a series of break ups & make ups. I distracted myself with friends & stuff. I didn’t give myself much time to sit & dwell over it. Plus I’m a freak of nature & once I decide something’s over, it’s over. I can then move on fairly easily. It’s just a matter of realizing it’s done. If that makes sense?
